Summit Roofing was founded in 2005 by Mike Callahan, a Tampa Bay native who spent his early career working for large regional contractors and grew frustrated watching homeowners get rushed through projects, handed to subcontractors they'd never met, and left with warranties that didn't hold up.

He started Summit with a single principle: treat every roof like it belongs to someone you know. That means full documentation, transparent pricing, a licensed crew on every job, and a warranty that actually means something.

Twenty years later, Summit Roofing has completed thousands of projects across Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties. The crew is larger. The trucks are newer. The principle hasn't changed.

Your property is treated with respect from the first truck to the last nail. Daily cleanup is non-negotiable. Every project ends with a full magnet sweep for fasteners and complete debris removal before we close out.

Summit Roofing Founded

Mike Callahan launches Summit Roofing in Tampa Bay, starting with a two-person crew and a commitment to licensed, documented, warranty-backed work.

2008
Expansion into Pinellas County

Growing demand from St. Petersburg and Clearwater homeowners leads to a dedicated Pinellas operation and a second installation crew.

2012
Storm Division Launched

Following a significant hurricane season, Summit formalizes a dedicated storm damage and insurance claims division, including 24/7 emergency tarping.

2015
Pasco County Coverage Added

Rapid residential growth in Wesley Chapel and Land O' Lakes drives Summit's expansion north into Pasco County, completing the full Tampa Bay tri-county footprint.

2018
